When using digest mode, please change the Subject line.

In V5R4 imbedded sql gets better.  Instead of the
      /end-free
     C/EXEC SQL
     C+ Prepare S1 from :stmt1
     C/END-EXEC
      /free
garbage you can now do sql in free format
       execsql select...;

Although I still like my FetchCursor's like I like my rpg Reads.  Stored 
in a subprocedure so that I can do a 
dow FetchCursor();
  // process here
  ...
  //  ignore this record
  iter;  // Here's the catch!!!
  // Traditionally you may do a read or a cursor fetch here and get hosed
  ...
EndDo;
and not get stuck in an infinite loop.
