You can by fetching after you open your cursor.

For example:

c/exec sql
c+ fetch C1 into :result_ds:result_dsNull
c/end-exec

where result_ds is defined with a subfield matching each field
returned in your select and rresult_dsNull is an array of 5i0 dimmed
to match the number of fields returned. If a select returns a null
value, the corresponding element will equal -1.
