Hi Birgitta,Thanks for the post - I think I will probably do something similar to this. I was hoping to trap the exceptions explicitly with the on-error but I guess it checks for status code values and not message descriptions.
I think Scott's idea of putting a procedure call in the on-error block and percolating the error within the procedure is nice and clean - it also means I may be able to put the code in a service program and use it generically.
