We have a large file with a date (cyymmdd) that my manager wants to pull in to
an Excel spreadsheet. After he downloads it, he has to run a micro to convert
the date to mm/dd/yy for Excel to use.
What I would like to know is if I set up a field in the file with format mdy.
Will this come over correctly in Excel? I can create the new field (mdy) when
the cyymmdd field is created.
Or is there a better way to do this.
Thanks,
William Moore
