what happened and how, which you ignored.

My last line about punch cards might have been IMpertinent; but that was in
direct response to your editorializing about SEU and EDTF.  Without proof
that WDSC did something to your source as opposed to operator error, your
implication that WDSC ruins source was baseless and inappropriate.  That was
what prompted my comment about punched cards.
