What I was getting at Booth was that if VARPG has something like
FMYFILE ...   and that accesses a file on C: then why couldn't it be as 
easy to access IFS files in RPGLE on the server?  And I think the answer 
was you'd have to change all the existing F specs in server based RPGLE to 
say *REMOTE or some such animal and that would blow backward 
compatibility.
