Not sure I agree with that Tony.  Particularly If you are using prototyped
calls (you are aren't you? <grin>) then I would say that it makes it less
readable.  Also you are forced to always use the same parms - or have a
secondary mechanism to copy the parms - which doesn't do anything to make it
more readable.  A little easier to maintain if the same parms are always
used, maybe, but I don't think the trade-off is worth it.
