Well, this is way out of my realm of experience, but I have a few other suggestions seeing that you still haven't had any other responses. (Everyone must be out for Christmas vacation.) 1. Dumb question, I know, but are the RPG programs compiled with the appropriate *SRCDBG or somesuch? If they are OPM and the debugger is like STRDBG which requires you to specify OPMSRC(*YES), are you taking that into account? 2. User exit programs, IMO, are not the typical development fodder of most AS400 shops. Since you are using MAPICS, you may want to post your question on the MAPICS list; perhaps someone there has "been there, done that". I know there are other packages that use user exit programs, and you might want to post also on the SYSTEM21 list as well. 3. Never forget the power of google. Might need to tweak your search a few times, but I've been surprised at the results I've found from some rather obscure topics. Good luck! - Dan
