Rick, If all you want the RPG program to do is a GET or POST, then Scotts HTTP API or my GETURI utility will do the trick. With GETURI you have both a command and API interface. And there's a free trial which is fully functional so if you just want to test, that can get you going quickly and for free. See www.bvstools.com/geturi.html for more information. I know your frustration with some parsing tools. Been there, done that. Didn't do much for my opinions XML. I've even worked with one company who received XML docs (POs) from the same company, but different "divisions" of the company. Needless to say, both were completely different in format.. ugh...
