A date field already knows what it is. There is no specific format for it.

Some of the confusion for me has always to been get the date field properly populated. I get caught up in trying to format the date field rather than correctly identifying the field populating the date field.

Also, can we use date parms if CL is involved? I looked it up, but could not find anything one way or the other.

Is there a specific format that they must be in? the user is going to enter it as a type *USA, but it seems like at least from the command line I can never get them to pass correctly.

Suggestions or hints?

If you bought it, it was hauled by a truck - somewhere, sometime.
