Matt,

Thanks for the response.
I took a look into the CsrLoc thing... And as I was doing that I
realized I made the mistake of mistakes... I wasn't setting on the
DSPATR(PC) option indicator for the particular error I was testing with.

So this had nothing to do with multiple formats on the screen, just an
error on my part.

Kurt,

It sounds to me like you have some sort of control to position the
cursor to subfile B like DSPATR(PC) or CSRLOC(R C) active every time you
attempt to position to subfile D.

Thank you,

Subject: Multiple record formats on screen - Position Cursor

Hi all,

I've got 5 record formats on a screen.
A. Standard Header (line 1)
B. Subfile Control
C. Subfile
D. Subfile Control
E. Subfile.

B and E have data entered.

Write A;
Write B;
ExFmt D;
Read B; // to get the values entered on B

When I go through my validation checks, I can position the cursor
wherever I want in B.
But when there are no errors in B, and there is one in subfile E, I
can't position the cursor down there get the correct page of the subfile
to display, but can't seem to position down there.

My Subfile RRN for D is defined as:
     A            ITMDSP         4S 0H      SFLRCDNBR

I tried using:
     A            ITMDSP         4S 0H      SFLRCDNBR(CURSOR)
but that resulted in me not being able to position the cursor in B.

Any ideas?

Note: The way the screen flows, I can't take the data entry fields from
B and put them in D (that would resolve my situation).
