Tommy, I had to do that on my "RPGIV.COM/FORUM" site -- set up a "byte-me" section to avoid having people post so many "non-technical" comments in the technical forums. They can get quite interesting. -Bob Cozzi www.RPGxTools.com RPG xTools - Enjoy programming again. -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Holden Tommy Sent: Monday, November 14, 2005 3:06 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: RE: Lists, posts, and being offensive But then we'd have to setup another group for discussion MIDRANGE-BYTE-ME LOL Thanks, Tommy Holden -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dave Reiher/prairiefarms Sent: Monday, November 14, 2005 2:52 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Cc: 'RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries'; rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Lists, posts, and being offensive I discuss a user group and get directed to MIDRANGE-NONTECH. A common complaint, and one I attribute to the lack of human interface in email. That's why I try to litter my posts (if that's not redundant) with <grin>s and the like, just to make it clear when I'm making a joke. And still we all sometimes write something that's a bit more caustic than necessary. We're human. > Why am I still here? The list would be diminished otherwise. Joe
