Interesting. Just to make sure I understand it correctly. If a program is made up with multiple modules, the following conditions will determine how *inlr effect closing of files that open by each module: 1) Set on *LR on UEP module will not close files that are open by modules without *nomain-keyword. (I'm assuming that the only way to close the file on those modules is to use CALLB to exec the main procedure those modules and seton *lr). 2) Set on *LR on UEP module will close files that open by modules with *nomain keyword. Is above correct? thanks -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Scott Klement Sent: Friday, November 04, 2005 6:21 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: RE: ILE and Access Paths It's really the fact that they're modules with a main procedure vs. modules without a main procedure that impact what *INLR does, and not whether they're service programs or programs.
