As Tom says, using QUSRJOBI will retrieve these flags. I use this method from a CL program to determine whether a user changed a batch FTP script prior to running it. To the OP: I suggest you create a wrapper procedure around the API and stick it in a service program rather than code it directly in your RPG program. Eventually you're going to want to use it from a CL program (trust me!) and it's a lot easier calling a wrapper function than QUSRJOBI... HTH, Rory
