Yes, but this isn't the same thing. I was referring to sorting an arrayof data structures. This example demonstrates sorting a single datastructure that has an array inside it. Not the same thing -- though maybethe OP decided to use the "array in the DS" sample, instead.

But after awhile the rules and restrictions get in the way and gsort gets
more appealing.


You mean qsort, right?  Not #GSORT, surely?
