RE: Unicode/EBCDIC conversions?

The inconv() API does this (I have no idea how long its been around).
There are examples of it in the archives.

Is there an easy way to do conversions between EBCDIC and 
Unicode (UCS-2) with a V4R2 compiler? Some obscure system 
API or C runtime call that RPG can reach with an
