Has anyone else experienced this?

My program displays a window when a function key is pressed. Within the
window, some other function keys are enabled and some are not. When a key
is pressed that is not enabled, the system automatically displays the
message "Function key not allowed" on the status line. The unusual thing is
that preceding the system message is information that comes from the screen
under the window, directly to the left of the last line in the window.

I have confirmed this in other programs as well. A program written by
someone else shows the same problem. Since the information on his screen
to the left of the bottom line of his window comes from a subfile, it
changes based on the page shown. The appended data always changes to match
what is on that subfile line.

We're on V5R1M0 using Client Access as our 5270 emulator.
