Brian,

Could the SQL read be setting some control value required for FILE2?
Anything odd on the F spec for that file?

Does the old code run ok over the same data?  CPF5029 is a data mapping
problem with some field on the file.  Could a bad record have been recently
added that would also cause a problem with the old version of the program?
