Hi All,

I made a small change in my program today from something like this
(/FREE, SQL, /FREE):

Read (FILE1);

Do while not %eof(FILE1);

<processing>

Read (FILE1);

Enddo

C/Exec-SQL

C+ <SQL>

C/END-Exec

Read (FILE2);

Do while not %eof(FILE2);

<processing>

Read (FILE2);

Enddo

To this (/FREE, /FREE, SQL):

Read (FILE1);

Do while not %eof(FILE1);

<processing>

Read (FILE1);

Enddo

Read (FILE2);

Do while not %eof(FILE2);

<processing>

Read (FILE2);

Enddo

...

C/Exec-SQL

C+ <SQL>

C/END-Exec

However, when I compile and run the program, as soon as it hits the READ
(FILE2); statement, I get a CPF5029 error.  I checked, and FILE2 is not
read anywhere else in my program before this read.

Can someone guess as to why this is occurring? Do I need to close the
previous file before reading another one?

Thanks!

Brian.
