Luqman, You can have a CHECK(ER) on field 2. The programme takes control again, calculates the value of filed 3 and EXFMT the screen again. You have to catch this within your programme, perhaps an indicator to check if field three has been calculated or field 2 has been changed (keyword CHANGE(xx) on the field).
