RE: Program performance incease ideas -- ** SOLVED **

Hi All,

I *finally* figured out the problem.  All along (as most if not all of
you pointed out) there wasn't a proper INDEX on the file.

I just created an index on the file using only the part number and part
colour on it.  Now when I run my query, it takes less than one second to
return a response (before it was 5+ seconds).

So now, instead of taking 6+ hours to go through a 5000 record table, it
takes way less time.

Again, I would like to express my thanks to everyone who gave me a hand
on this problem!
