   Excuse me but  on my post i miss the fact that i want to copy the i= fs
   file from an rpg program.

   

   Using ftp i don't know the client address

   several ways come 2 mind -

   

   use Operations Navigator (simple copy)

   

   or use FTP

   

   eg after ftp'ing to AS/400:

   

   cd /{ifs directory}

   

   get {file name}

   

   (replace {names} with required values)
