Don't know if this fits your situation, but I was getting a similar message using dealloc at program exit time. It took awhile to figure it out, but the problem was that I was changing the original pointer that I had allocated as I worked my way through a receiver variable. I don't have the code handy, but what I was doing was something like this:

Initial allocation
Alloc Memory ReceiverVarPtr

Work my way through the receiver var by adding the size of the structure to the receiver var pointer
Eval ReceiverVarPtr += %len(myDataStructure)

At end of program
Dealloc ReceiverVarPtr
This caused a message similar to "The starting address ...is not valid."

What I did to correct the problem was to make a copy of the pointer that I originally allocated. So now I have something like this:I

nitial allocation
Alloc Memory ReceiverVarPtr
Eval OrigRcvrPtr = ReceiverVarPtr

At end of program
Dealloc OrigRcvrVarPtr

This cleared up the problem for me. Perhaps you have something similar where the pointer gets changed somehow after the original allocation.

Hope this helps.
