I wanted to test a program (read only) so I created a DDM File in the development machine, but :-(

Instead of: CRTDDMF FILE(LIB/FILE) RMTFILE (LIB/FILE) LOCATION((PRODUCTION))
I wrote: CRTDDMF FILE(LIB/FILE) RMTFILE (LIB/FILE) LOCATION((DEVELOPMENT))

in the development computer, so the ddmf pointed to itself. Try to read and it created a lot of QRWTSRVR.

It will be a good idea if the AS will detect circular references, or even require that a DDM File points to a "real" file (physical or logical). This may seem to drastical, but I belive that chaining DDMs will degrade performance and makes it harder to trace the real location af the file being used.
