Only thing I can think of is to ensure that your DDM over TCP attributes have the same values. Mismatched PWDRQD settings can cause some issues with DDM Thanks, Tommy Holden -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Eduard Sluis Sent: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 3:30 PM To: AS400 Programmer; RPG400-L Midrange Subject: DDM error after upgrade from V5R1 to V5R2. Dear all, After an upgrade from V5R1 to V5R2 one of our customers experience authorization problems when using DDM. Message CPF9162 is issued (with not much extra info) when an *USER is initiating the connection. An *ALLOBJ user has no problem. I have searched IBM but they do only come up with issues related with OptiConnect (which is not used) except on one link that they do not allow me as official BussinessPartner to see (because we are not in an entitled country (nice type of discrimination)). So, since IBM does not want to help.... Is this a known problem? Who also has stumbled on it? What can be done about it (without adapting the level of access of the user/program)? Kind regards, Eduard sluis.
