Just the raw basics.
First, go to
http://www.zmailer.org/mxverify-cgi.html
and punch in the domain. For example, if I want to email someone at
yahoo.com I punch in yahoo.com and pick one of their mx entries.
Then I do

TELNET RMTSYS(mx1.mail.yahoo.com) PORT(25)

Then I can enter in the lines that don't begin with a number, as follows.
backspaces, etc are nasties and you'll have to start over.
ehlo dekko.com
250-mta102.mail.re2.yahoo.com
250-8BITMIME
250-SIZE 31981568
250 PIPELINING
mail from:<>
250 null sender <> ok

But if you get this far, your routes and stuff should be fine.

And that is about as far as I figure I can help you with Javamail. Sorry.
