Now that I've thought a bit, I'll add a potential "enhancement".

The TRCJOB command creates a 'traceable event' all by itself. Therefore, a 
'traceable event' can be caused externally. The sequence can then be:

  ==>  sndmsg 'SOMECMD PARM(SOMEPARM)' tomsgq(trclib/SRVJ999999)
  ==>  trcjob *ON exitpgm(exitpgmlib/exitpgm)
  ==>  trcjob *END

Because the SOMECMD command is sitting on the message queue at the moment 
TRCJOB is set *ON, the exit program picks it up immediately. Each TRCJOB 
*ON/*END causes a 'traceable event'.
