Well they've got it now. Use of supported vs unsupported software is a business decision.

I won't miss OPM RPG, but unfortunately the withdrawal will also be used as a reason for dumping RPG/400 based packages all together.

It will be interesting to see in time whether the net effect of dropping RPG/400 was more helpful than hurtful.
