You can use the COLOR keyword and condition it in your DDS. Thanks, Mark Mark D. This record will show three different structures of data, based on DSs One of the structures has a date as the first ten characters, and I would like to color that date yellow, to visually offset it. Is there any way to color a section of text within a single display file field? I am thinking back to when I used to build ANSI display screens, and you could send special characters to the screen that would change the attributes of the following text. -- "Enter any 11-digit prime number to continue..." "In Hebrew SQL, how do you use right() and left()?..." - Random Thought -- This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
