I didn't believe it either but when I tried it after Rob's post here is
the message:
select * from kcddmfls/hsfspm06 
HSFSPM06 in KCDDMFLS not table, view, or physical file. 

The other part of the suggestion would still work though, depending on
size of the file.  Copy it over DDM file or save and restore or ftp and
then do your SQL and compare.

Why couldn't it?  DDM files aren't in the SQL system tables?
