huh, I wonder why... hehehe?

Watch out!! Below might be a stupid question, but here I go...
I wonder what most of the ODBC for window written in.  If they are written in 
ANSI C, can't those vendor just compile them on the AS400?

ODBC drivers aren't written by the OS platform vendors.  They are written by 
the DB vendors, none of which bothers to write one for the iSeries.
