I have spent most of today on the web and the Midrange site reading up about this! From most of the mails on the Midrange site it seems that this is an impossibility unless one spends money. The problem I have is that I do not require the comprehensive software that most of the vendors are punting. All I require is a simple API which can be included seamlessly into my application/s that will convert my AFP report to a PDF, based on certain parameters, nothing more - and then I want this without spending money as well *smile* quite a tall order I am afraid. I looked at the following article in great detail and since I already have a program that converts from SPLF to PDF this is not of much help - unless someone could offer me some advice to the contrary. The article does refer to the ability to add a watermark to the objects and my thoughts were to possibly use my overlay as the water mark - question is whether this would work. So if anyone has tried something along these lines with this utility I would appreciate any input into my dilemma (since not only am I short of money but also of time). http://search400.techtarget.com/tip/1,289483,sid3_gci847978,00.html?track=NL-180&ad=485855 Thank you and Regards Anette Bell Equipment Limited Registration number 1968/013656/06 Directors: HJ Buttery (Group Chairman), GW Bell (Group Chief Executive), DL Smythe, JP du Toit, GP Harris, BW Schaffter *(USA), JW Kloet * (USA), CD Anderson * (USA), DJJ Vlok *, PJC Horne *, TO Tsukudu *, SCM Nyembezi * Alternate Directors: PC Bell, PA Bell, MA Campbell, DM Gage * (USA) * Non Executive Company Secretary : DP Mahony This email is subject to important restrictions and qualifications subject to the disclaimer published on our website (www.bellequipment.com) via this link: http://www.bellequipment.com/live/internet/homepage.nsf/0/412179242?OpenDocument
