Doug,
The Access path is like an 'Execution Plan' in MS Sql.  SQL, to expedite
performance, grabs any indexes already available and uses it to execute
the query.  If none found to match the query, it creates one at runtime.
This in your case is IMPILN00.  This would affect the SQL performance
and if this query is most frequently used, it would be better to create
a LF (iSeries way of indexing) over the fields to expedite the query
performance.
