RPG-Alive GUI is a very nice RPG editor (http://www.RPGsp.com/rpgalivegui). The prompter is excellent ... a much user-friendlier interface compared to WDSc. It color-codes fields based on the operation code and gives you context-sensitive tips. For example, if you are in Factor 2 of a Chain command, it tells you that a File Name or a Record Format Name goes there. It will also gray out any fields that are not applicable for an operation. Plus, it can give you "prompting" on the fly without a prompter window -- it outlines your Factor1, Factor2, Result, Indicators, etc. right on a line of code. Just like WDSc, it has Intellisense completion (with Ctrl-Space), syntax tool tips for BIFs, and complete RPG help. It also gives you an automatic code outline for IF/ENDIF - DO/ENDDO structures directly in Edit Mode. It is not free, but it is not expensive either, and it runs very well on slower PC?s. Seth Newton
