What is the equivalent of RPG Opcode FREE in RPGLE.


Activation groups.

Load all of the programs you want to run in in a named activation group, and reclaim it with the RCLACTGRP command when you want to unload them from memory.

Or, compiler the calling program with ACTGRP(*NEW) and the ones that it calls with ACTGRP(*CALLER) and everything will be unloaded from memory automatically when the calling program ends.
