Hi,

if not already listed, I'd like to see the following topics in the new RPG 
Redbook:

1. RPG interacting with other programming languages 
   (especially JAVA and C)
   How to read and interpret the parameter descriptions.
2. Working with IFS and PC-files
   - Creating and working with EXCEL files
3. RPG and XML
4. How to separate Data Access, Program Logic and User Interface.
5. Creating graphical user interfaces with RPG skills
   - Using CGI (CGIDEV2)
   - Using WDSc
6. The new features added in Releases V5, like Free Format Coding, 
Built-in-Function and Array Data Dtructures should be added.
7. Remote System Explorer and other WDSc Features
   as new development tools.


Most proposals toward the database, I read in other comments, like Date 
Calculation, embedded SQL, External Triggers, External Stored Procedures and 
External User Defined Functions are already covered in the following Redbook:
