Yes. Make sure the window format does not overlap any content on the
main screen. Make sure both formats have the OVERLAY keyword specified.
WRITE the window format first. EXFMT the main screen.

This is probably going to reveal my basic ignorance of DDS but here
goes.

The program I am writing needs some static comments and instructions to
always display on the main screen.  Is it possible to have those
comments appear inside the default window borders and still leave the
main screen as the active format?
