Maybe not exactly what you are looking for but there is an sql statement
CREATE TRIGGER ...
FOR EACH STATEMENT

Came out the last release or two.  Old default was FOR EACH ROW.

I wish to call a new (trigger) program when journalled file changes are
committed rather than at the point of update.  Does anyone know of an exit
point at which this could be done?
