Joe, Somewhere out there I bet there's a canned package that does this. Strictly as a security by obscurity measure. I have used canned packages in which the file descriptions were all the same. "Copyright 19xx by xyz corp". I can just imagine them using fld001, fld002, fld003 in each file. Just one step above internally defined. Now THIS is a very powerful comment. I don't think I ever thought of it quite that way. An extension of this is that you should try to make sure that your field names are not just meaningful, but also as different as is practical. Don't go overboard, certainly, but this is a good argument against names like "Field1" and "Field2" <grin>.
