Two ways.
Use the directory routines, such as opendir() and readdir() as illustrated
in "the redbook" or use RPG xTools to create a list of file names for any
given directory and then loop through them and run your commands over them.

There's a free example using xTools to delete old IFS files at this link:
http://www.rpgiv.com/cgi-rpg/viewsrc?FILE=QRPGLESRC&LIB=RPGLAB&MBR=DLTOLDIFS

Not sure where a link would be using the other method, probably at Scott
Klement's website.

Subject: Retrieving the contents of an IFS folder

Hello,

I need to dump some files into a folder on the IFS and then use a
CPYFRMPCD to a file on the 400, first being a replace and subsequent being
adds. And of course I'd like to automate it. =) Is there any way I can
use an RPG or CL to read the contents of the folder and then do the copy
commands automatically? Thanks in advance.

Dennis
