If it really is *EUR (except for the .) then a simple %Xlate('.': '-':
%Char(DateFld: *EUR)) will do it.  Or %Xlate('.': '-': %Char(DateFld: *EUR):
3) - if you want to make it a teeny bit faster.

This approach works with all of the 4 digit year formats, none of which
allow the specification of a separator 'cos they are all international
standards.
