Bryan: Here's a kind of psuedo-code CL program that gets the process started: PGM CRTUSRSPC USRSPC( QTEMP/MYUSRSPC ) INLSIZE( 1000000 ) CALL QSRLSAVF ( + 'MYUSRSPC QTEMP' + SAVF0200 + 'MYSAVF MYLIB' + *ALL + *ALL + ' ' + X'0000000000000000' + ) DMPOBJ QTEMP/MYUSRSPC *USRSPC ENDPGM The CRTUSRSPC command is a wrapper for the QUSCRTUS (Create user space) API. That can be ignored for now. The main point is the CALL to QSRLSAVF which lists the savf into the user space. From there, the elements of the list could be read and put into a file or whatever you wanted. The DMPOBJ merely dumps the space for viewing and is otherwise extraneous. In some ways, it's as easy as that. If this had some kind of file output in place of the DMPOBJ, is there any reason it wouldn't be essentially sufficient? (Obviously, lack of error-checking, variables for savf name and libraries, etc., notwithstanding.) Tom Liotta rpg400-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > 7.
