If you type DSPMSGD CPD5238, and take option 1, you'll get more detail about the message: Message ID . . . . . . . . . : CPD5238 Message file . . . . . . . . : QCPFMSG Library . . . . . . . . . : QSYS Message . . . . : No valid record found in source. Cause . . . . . : The source must contain at least one record (R in position 17). All records specified in the source were ignored because of errors. Recovery . . . : See the error messages previously listed. Correct the errors, and then try the request again.
