I earned a Bachelors in Music *in addition to* my Bachelors in Computer Science at Ohio State... graduated '96. I had ideas of having a programming job while writing music on the side. What was I thinking? I play viola, but I was more into theory and composition actually. Yes, there definitely are similarities between writing music and coding. Many people have asked me if I would like to find a career that incorporates both... I'm still waiting for my boss to ask me to write a concerto to go along with my RPG CGI web project.
