>> I'm also looking into developing VARPG apps that could be used a demo models (hint - any good coding examples would be most welcome). ^There are a number of demo apps delivered with the product. If you do File -> Open -> then drill down to installdirectory/projects/VARPG Projects/samples and you'll find a whole bunch. Some of the coding style is a bit RPG II and there are few if any that demonstrate the /free syntax which is far superior to the old fixed-form - but nevertheless they demonstrate many of the built-in facilities. IBM also has additional bits and pieces (including a couple of low level games) on the VARPG support web site. Other people also have examples on their site - Google will locate those for you. The absolute best place for support is the IBM VARPG news group at news.software.ibm.com. The developers support it really well and there are loads of examples of interfacing to windows apis (for example). Jon Paris Partner400 www.Partner400.com
