Bob,

Take a look at SECTCP at http://www-922.ibm.com/. It has a series of exit
programs and one of them is for FTP. The FTP exit allows you to specify what's
allowed on a per user basis and also allows you to setup anonymous FTP (which
is probably what you want). I've been using it for several years with no
issues. The source is included if you need to make changes.

I am looking at opening up the FTP port for sending only.
That way I can create a QREVIEW source file where people can post prototypes
and after we all review them, I will move them into the reviewed files.
I'm an FTP user, not a technician, so I have to ask someone how to allow
upload only on a user profile.

Bob,

<snip>
I have copied the API, C and MI prototypes that I use from RPG xTools's
distribution library into this public library. The source member list is
displayed and by clicking on the member name, you
can view the source...

..To go directly to the member list, follow this link:
http://www.rpgiv.com/cgi-rpg/viewsrc?FILE=qcpysrc
<http://www.rpgiv.com/cgi-rpg/viewsrc?FILE=qcpysrc&LIB=RPGLAB&MBR=*MBRLIST>
&LIB=RPGLAB&MBR=*MBRLIST
</snip>

I think that's really great.

Is there any way we can "post" prototypes to this Bob? If so, I think that,
if each one of us post our prototypes, we'd very quickly cover the commonly
used APIs.

Cheers

Larry
