Rob, What do you have for the sfile() keyword on the F spec for the DSPF ? Based on your example, it should be sfile(record1:x) Also, if you happen not to write a sfl record (Leave on first iteration), then SFLDSP should not be set on. Usually I make SFLDSP and SFLDSPCTL separate indicators to address this condition.
