The book I have was published in 1994 and is written for V2R3. I realize that it hasn't changed much, but this book uses op codes that are outdated such as CAB, IFEQ, etc. It would just be easier to learn subfiles, rather than subfiles and RPG III. Either way, if there isn't much out there about it, I will just use this book. Its not that I can't read and understand the RPG III code, it just slows me down. If it's any help, subfile features haven't changed in many, many years. It's very likely that the book you have would read the same if written today save for the RPG-III vs. RPG-IV code. The underlying DDS coding hasn't changed in a while. Now if the book is 10+ years old, then that's another story. What's the title, year published, and does it mention the Version/Release of OS/400 that it was written for? hth, db > -----Original Message----- > From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx / Michael Jacobsen > Sent: Monday, November 01, 2004 2:38 PM > > Does anybody know where I can find some online information about how to > use Subfiles in RPG IV?
