Looking at the *SRVPGM detail for a program created with CRTBNDRPG, I see a
service program listed along with the library that it is in.

I could have sworn that I was able to run the program without having the
service program library in the LIBL. However, when I transferred the
program and the *SRVPGM to our production box I wasn't able to run it
without adding the *SRVPGM library to the LIBL.

This morning, back on the dev box. I couldn't run the program without
having the service program in the LIBL.

So, first question...does the *SRVPGM library always have to be in the LIBL
even if the library name is listed on the *SRVPGM detail screen of the
program?

If yes, does that mean I'm crazy thinking that I was somehow able to do it
before? <grin>

Note that we use Aldon, so when I thought I was doing it for the BNDRPG
program the program was in my development library, now it has been moved to
the production library. The service program in question has always been in
the same library.

Thanks,
Charles Wilt
