Eric, > Using WRKDBF, I can "undelete" these records. Make a copy of the file (eg CPYF ... COMPRESS(*NO) to retain deleted records) then use WRKDBF/WRKDBFUNDL to mass un-delete all deleted records in the entire file. Run a SQL or whatever search for records which match your criteria, which will then of course include records which were not originally deleted. Join back to the production file to find out which were not previously deleted. Doug
